Privacy Policy
TrimSafe is built to work entirely on your device. This page explains exactly what that means.
What TrimSafe collects
Nothing. TrimSafe does not collect, transmit, or store your videos, photos, or personal information on any server. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics running in the app.
What TrimSafe accesses on your device
With your permission, TrimSafe reads the video you choose from your photo library, along with the metadata your camera already recorded — GPS coordinates, capture date, device make and model. It writes that same metadata back onto the trimmed file and saves the result to Files or your photo library. None of it leaves your device.
Third parties
TrimSafe does not share data with third parties, because none is collected. If you purchase Pro or Pro+, that transaction is handled by Apple's App Store under Apple's own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
TrimSafe does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated date above will change and the new version will be posted on this page.
