Where do my trimmed videos go?
Exported files are named by their GPS coordinates and saved to Files or iCloud Drive — wherever you choose on export.
Does TrimSafe upload my videos anywhere?
No. Trimming, metadata writing, and verification all happen on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Why does the trimmed file still show the original capture date?
That's by design. Most trimmers reset the capture date to the export time and drop the GPS data. TrimSafe writes the original GPS coordinates, capture date, and device info back onto the output, then re-reads the file to confirm they're there.
What's the difference between Free, Pro, and Pro+?
Free covers unlimited, frame-accurate trimming with full metadata preservation — no limits, no subscription — plus every check explained on screen, the plain-text metadata summary, and your own library and log. Pro is a one-time unlock inside the app that adds sixteen things on top, starting with the PDF report itself — what each one does, with where the free flow stops. Pro+ is a planned subscription tier — iCloud sync, saved presets and priority support — and none of it is built yet.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a single purchase that unlocks permanently and is shared across your devices by the App Store. The free flow never changes when you buy it, and the seven checks stay exactly as strict.
