TrimSafe Pro

What Pro adds

Seventeen additions, each one a sentence. Pro is a single purchase that unlocks permanently and is shared across your devices by the App Store — not a subscription.

Free trims a video that passed every check.

Pro reads every video the same way — and lets you decide.

What Free already does. Unlimited frame-accurate trims with the original GPS, capture date and device written back and verified; every one of the seven checks explained in plain language, pass or fail; the plain-text metadata summary, copied anywhere; and a library of what you've kept, with a log of what was done. Free reads one video at a time, through the ordinary picker or a share-in. Nothing below is taken away from any of that — the checks stay exactly as strict either way.

Read anything, decide for yourself

Every readable video accepted

Edited, cropped, foreign encoder, missing metadata — the checks still run, and their findings stand.

Trim a video that did not pass

The report travels with it and says plainly what was already edited or missing before TrimSafe touched it.

Every check in plain language

Each check explains what its finding says about the file's history — a sentence or two, no jargon. The explanation itself is never behind the paywall; Pro is where it is written out in full.

Paperwork you can hand over

A written report, on any clip

A PDF, or the same document as plain text, with a SHA-256 fingerprint — on a clip that passed every check as readily as one that did not, naming what was already edited or missing when it did not.

The export covered, not just the source

A fingerprint of the file that came out as well as the one that went in, read back off disk after the write — with frames of the trimmed window printed under their timecodes.

Your firm's name and logo on it

A company name, the brand you trade under, a logo, and your choice of coordinate format — so the document looks like yours rather than an app's.

A password you set once

Store a default that every report starts from, instead of typing one at each save. Only the PDF is locked; a CSV, and the zip an evidence bundle is packed into, are not — and the app says so where you set it.

Forty clips, not one

Check without trimming

Forty videos in one queue instead of reading them one at a time through the ordinary picker. The same seven checks over each, a results list, and one combined report — the site-visit workflow. What any single file's findings say is identical either way: Pro is the queue, not the reading.

The whole queue as one document

One PDF covering every file in the batch, one spreadsheet row per file as CSV, or a single zip holding the clips, every report and a checksums file in the shape shasum -a 256 prints.

The metadata as JSON

The same findings in the shape another system reads. A refusal keeps its reason, a check nobody could answer stays distinct from one that failed, and every date keeps the clock it was written in — none of which survives a spreadsheet cell.

Check a file against its report

Hand back an export and the report it came with; the fingerprints are recomputed and matched. Password-protected reports can be opened here.

Two files at once

See exactly what a copy lost

Set a copy against the original it came from, field by field — including whether a capture date kept the clock it was shot in.

Put back what a copy lost

Write the original's own facts onto a new copy, without re-encoding a frame. Every value is copied from a file you supplied, never typed, and the result always says it was repaired.

File handling

Remove the sound

Strip conversation from documentation footage. The picture is copied across untouched.

Fit a size that will send

Re-encode to land under 10 or 25 MB, and be told the size it actually came to rather than the one you asked for.

Convert, and join

MOV or MP4, H.264 for players that need it, and several recordings joined into one — each saying whether the picture was rebuilt.

A frame as a photo, or a stamped copy

Save a still that keeps the recording's own date, place and device — or a copy of the export with the time and place drawn into the picture.

What this is not These are heuristics. They can flag signs of editing; they cannot prove a file is original. TrimSafe records what a file said about itself when it was read. It is not a chain of custody and it is not evidence, and the app says so on the screens where it matters.
